New gum patch tested to heal receding gums without a second surgery

NCT ID NCT07203326

Summary

This study is testing a new version of a processed tissue material used to cover exposed tooth roots (gum recession). It compares the new material to the standard version to see if it improves healing, coverage, and patient comfort. The goal is to offer an alternative to taking tissue from the roof of the patient's mouth, which requires a second surgical site.
