First seen Dec 10, 2025 · Last updated Apr 15, 2026 · Updated 20 times
Summary
This study is testing a new, less invasive procedure to treat large, non-cancerous thyroid growths called giant nodular goiters. Doctors will inject a medication directly into the blood vessels feeding the thyroid nodule to try to shrink it and relieve symptoms like swallowing or breathing difficulty. The goal is to see if this approach can control the growth without requiring traditional surgery.
