Summary
This trial is testing if adding an experimental drug called LAM561 to the standard treatment for a fast-growing brain cancer (glioblastoma) can help control the disease better. It involves 144 newly diagnosed adult patients who will receive either LAM561 or a placebo pill along with their standard radiation and chemotherapy. The main goal is to see if the drug combination can delay cancer growth and help patients live longer.
