Tiny implant offers new hope for stubborn glaucoma

NCT ID NCT06176170

Summary

This study is testing a new, leaf-shaped surgical implant called VW-51 for people whose glaucoma isn't well controlled by eye drops or previous surgery. The implant is placed under the outer layer of the eye to help drain fluid and lower pressure. Researchers will follow 65 adult participants for one year to see if the implant is safe and effective at managing their eye pressure.
