First human test for new fatty liver pill begins

Summary
This is the first study in humans to test the safety and side effects of a new drug called NNC4005-0001 for fatty liver disease. About 60 adults with increased body weight and liver fat will receive either the new drug or a placebo (a dummy pill with no medicine) in a single dose. The main goal is to see how the body handles the drug and if it is safe and well-tolerated over about 7-8 months.
