Eye surgery breakthrough could simplify recovery from Vision-Threatening hole
NCT ID NCT07129798
Summary
This study is testing a new surgical technique to close a hole in the center of the retina (macula) in people with severe nearsightedness. The new method aims to close the hole without using a gas bubble inside the eye, which could help patients recover more easily. Researchers will see if this surgery is as effective and safe as the standard procedure for 20 participants.
