New device aims to streamline complex eye surgeries
NCT ID NCT06799156
Summary
This study is testing a new medical device designed to perform two types of eye surgery—cataract removal and vitrectomy (retina surgery)—in one system. Researchers will enroll 205 adults who need one or both of these procedures to see if the device is as safe and works as well as existing equipment. The main goal is to confirm the device doesn't cause more complications during surgery and allows surgeons to complete procedures as planned.
