Radical new attack plan tested against rare bone cancer

Summary
This early-stage trial is testing a new schedule of chemotherapy drugs for patients with widely spread Ewing's sarcoma, a rare bone and soft tissue cancer. The approach uses an initial strong treatment to shrink the main tumor, followed by a series of follow-up treatments and long-term maintenance therapy to try to eliminate remaining cancer cells. The study aims to see if this intensive schedule is safe and feasible for patients to complete.
