First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated Jun 15, 2026 · Updated 34 times
Summary
This study tests a new glue for braces that skips the acid step, which can weaken teeth and cause white spots. Twenty people getting braces will have the new glue on one side of their mouth and the standard glue on the other. Researchers will check which side has fewer brackets popping off and less tooth damage over 12 months.
