New hope for Tough-to-Treat esophageal cancer

Summary
This study is testing whether adding an experimental drug called LBL-007 to a standard immunotherapy and chemotherapy combination works better for people with advanced esophageal cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. It will involve about 118 participants who have not yet received treatment for their advanced cancer. The main goal is to see if the new three-drug combination helps shrink tumors more effectively and for a longer time than the standard two-drug approach.
