New enzyme therapy aims to help cystic fibrosis patients digest food

NCT ID NCT07450547

Summary

This study is testing whether a new enzyme therapy called ANG003 works as well as the standard treatment (Creon) for people with cystic fibrosis who have trouble digesting food. About 113 participants aged 12+ with cystic fibrosis and severe pancreatic insufficiency will try either ANG003 at different doses or Creon. Researchers will compare how well each treatment helps the body absorb fats and nutrients from food, while monitoring safety.
