Tiny vesicles tested to heal fragile skin in rare genetic disease

NCT ID NCT07230223

Summary

This study is testing a new topical treatment called Ev.FV for people with dystrophic epidermolysis bullosa (DEB), a rare genetic condition that causes extremely fragile skin and painful wounds. The treatment uses tiny, cell-free particles derived from stem cells, applied directly to wounds, with the goal of helping them heal faster and reducing pain. Researchers will measure how well and how safely these particles work in 20 participants over the course of the study.
