Brain surgery trial aims to stop Post-Op sickness with new drug

Summary

This study is testing a new, longer-acting version of a common anti-nausea drug to prevent sickness after brain surgery. Researchers will give the drug, called dexamethasone palmitate, to 500 adults before their operation to see if it's more effective and safer than the standard version. The goal is to reduce the unpleasant and common problem of nausea and vomiting in the first day after surgery.
