New hope to keep cancer treatment on track

NCT ID NCT07185893

Not yet recruiting Disease control Sponsor: Jun wang Source: ClinicalTrials.gov ↗

Summary

This study is testing a new drug, Romiplostim N01, to see if it can safely and effectively raise platelet counts in cancer patients. Low platelets are a common and serious side effect of chemotherapy and radiation that can force doctors to delay or reduce treatment. The trial will compare the new drug against an existing treatment to see which one better helps patients avoid platelet transfusions and keep their cancer therapy on schedule.
