New hope for Hard-to-Treat stomach cancer: drug combo trial launches

Summary
This study tests a new combination of two drugs (iparomlimab and tuvonralimab, together called QL1706) plus chemotherapy in people with advanced stomach or gastroesophageal junction cancer that cannot be removed by surgery or has spread. The cancer must be HER2-negative and have low PD-L1 levels. The goal is to see if this treatment helps control the disease longer. About 77 adults aged 18-75 who have not had prior systemic therapy are being recruited.
