Blood test may guide better treatment for tough lung cancer

NCT ID NCT06681220

Summary

This study is testing if a new combination of two oral drugs, Stenoparib and Temozolomide, can help control relapsed small cell lung cancer better than the current standard treatment. Researchers will first find the safest dose, then use a blood test to see which patients are most likely to benefit from the new combo. About 166 adults whose cancer has returned after initial chemotherapy will participate to see if this personalized approach improves how long the cancer stays under control.
