New hope for Tough-to-Treat colon cancer patients

Summary
This early-stage study is testing whether adding an experimental drug called ZEN003694 to two existing cancer drugs (cetuximab and encorafenib) is safe and effective for people with advanced colorectal cancer that has stopped responding to previous treatments. The trial will enroll about 30 adults whose cancer has a specific genetic change (BRAF V600E mutation) and has spread throughout their body. Researchers will first determine the safest dose of the new drug combination before looking at whether it helps control cancer growth.
