Could a single injection fix your Worn-Out back disc?

NCT ID NCT07254806

Summary

This study is testing an investigational injectable cell therapy (IDCT) to see if it can safely reduce pain and improve function in people with chronic lower back pain caused by a single worn-out spinal disc. About 162 adults who haven't gotten better with standard treatments will receive either the real injection or a sham (placebo) procedure and be followed for two years. The main goal is to see if the therapy provides better and longer-lasting pain relief and improved daily activity compared to the sham.
