Spray-on treatment tested for stubborn diabetic foot wounds
NCT ID NCT07396376
Summary
This early-phase study is testing a topical spray called ELU42 for people with chronic diabetic foot ulcers that haven't healed. Fifteen adults with Wagner grade 1-2 ulcers will receive the spray three times weekly for six weeks to check safety and see if it helps wounds shrink. The study tracks wound size changes and monitors for any side effects during and after treatment.
