New bandage trial aims to heal diabetic foot wounds faster
NCT ID NCT05762432
Summary
This study is testing whether a new type of wound dressing helps diabetic foot ulcers heal better than current standard dressings. 100 people with diabetes and foot ulcers will receive either the new dressing or the usual NHS dressing during their regular clinic visits. Researchers will check if wounds heal completely in 12 weeks and measure how much they shrink.
