New diabetes shot aims to tame blood sugar
NCT ID NCT07163624
Summary
This study is testing a new injectable medication called UBT251 to see if it can help control blood sugar in people with type 2 diabetes. It will involve 211 adults and compare the new injection against a placebo and another standard diabetes drug over 24 weeks. The main goal is to see how much it lowers a key long-term blood sugar marker (HbA1c) and to find the best dose for future larger studies.
