New pill tested to help control stubborn blood sugar
NCT ID NCT05814406
Summary
This study tested a new medicine called JW0201 for people with type 2 diabetes whose blood sugar was still too high despite taking other specific medications. About 196 participants were randomly assigned to receive either the new drug or a placebo (a dummy pill) for 24 weeks. The main goal was to see if adding JW0201 safely helped lower long-term blood sugar levels.
