Summary
This study is testing an investigational injection called HS-20094 for adults with type 2 diabetes whose blood sugar is not well controlled by diet and exercise alone. Over 200 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the real injection or a placebo (dummy shot) for nearly a year to see if it safely lowers blood sugar and body weight. The main goal is to see how well the injection controls blood sugar levels compared to the placebo after 44 and 52 weeks.
