NCT ID NCT07417306

Summary

This study aims to see if a new drug called HDM1005 works as well or better than an existing drug called mazdutide for controlling blood sugar in adults with type 2 diabetes. It will involve about 912 people whose diabetes is not well-managed with their current metformin-based treatment. Participants will be randomly assigned to receive one of the two drugs for about a year to compare their effectiveness and safety.
