New film treatment tested for depression that Won't quit

Summary

This study is testing a new medication film placed inside the cheek (VLS-01) for people with depression that hasn't improved with standard antidepressants. About 142 participants will receive either the active film or a placebo film to see if it helps reduce depression symptoms and is safe. Researchers will monitor participants for 12 weeks to understand how well and how quickly the treatment might work.
