Could a single IV dose and brain training offer new hope for depression?

NCT ID NCT06400121

Summary

This study is testing a new, fast-acting medication called apimostinel for treating major depression. Researchers want to see if it works better than a placebo and if adding a digital brain training program helps the benefits last longer. The trial will involve 150 adults with depression who will receive either the real medication or a placebo, and some will also complete the training.
