Scientists test 'Smart' implant that mimics real tooth sensation
NCT ID NCT07302581
Summary
This study is testing a new type of dental implant that aims to feel and function more like a natural tooth. Researchers will place the implant immediately after a tooth is pulled in about six adult participants. They will check if the implant bonds well to the jawbone and if it can restore natural tooth movement and sensation over 48 weeks.
