Gentler dental cleaning tested to save failing implants

NCT ID NCT07365722

Summary

This study tests whether a gentler, more precise cleaning method (MINST) works better than standard cleaning for treating infections around dental implants. Researchers will compare both approaches in 80 patients over 12 months to see which reduces infection, bleeding, and discomfort more effectively. The goal is to find a less invasive treatment that might help people keep their implants longer without needing surgery.
