Custom bone blocks tested to fix failed dental implants
NCT ID NCT07163351
Summary
This study tested a new technique for placing dental implants in the front upper jaw after a previous implant has failed. Researchers used a custom-made, computer-designed bone graft to rebuild the jawbone and place a new implant at the same time. They followed 20 patients for 18 months to see how well the bone grew and if the new implants were successful.
