Brain stimulation reset: new programming could restore lost tremor control

NCT ID NCT07302867

Summary

This study is testing whether new ways to program deep brain stimulation (DBS) devices can help people with essential tremor who stopped responding to their standard DBS therapy. Five participants will try six different stimulation patterns in clinic, then use one at home for three months. Researchers want to see if these advanced settings can restore and maintain tremor control when standard programming no longer works.
