3D-Printed hope for a common, hidden Women's health issue

NCT ID NCT06954701

Summary

This study is testing a new, personalized pessary designed using 3D printing to better fit a woman's anatomy. It aims to see if this new device is as effective as traditional pessaries at relieving symptoms of pelvic organ prolapse, while being more comfortable and easier for patients to insert and remove themselves. About 43 women who already use a standard pessary will try the new design for three months and report on their symptoms and experience.
