Greek hospital tests new surgery to stop Crohn's disease from coming back
NCT ID NCT07231601
Summary
This study is testing a new surgical technique for people with Crohn's disease in the last part of the small intestine who need an operation. The technique combines two newer methods to see if it is safe and if it can lower the chance of the disease returning after surgery. Researchers will follow 50 patients to track complications and check for disease recurrence over five years.
