New Animal-Virus-Based COVID booster enters human testing

NCT ID NCT05389319

Summary

This study is testing a new type of COVID-19 booster vaccine called Prime-2-CoV_Beta, which is made from a modified animal virus. Researchers will give the vaccine to 96 healthy adults to find the right dose and check how safe it is and how well it triggers an immune response against the virus. This is an early-stage trial to gather initial safety data and see if the vaccine candidate is promising.
