Smart contact lens could revolutionize glaucoma monitoring
NCT ID NCT04024293
First seen Apr 30, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 4 times
Summary
This study tests a special contact lens that measures eye pressure continuously over 24 hours in people with glaucoma or high eye pressure. The goal is to see if it works as well as the standard method (a quick office test). If successful, it could help doctors better manage glaucoma by catching pressure changes that happen during daily life and sleep.
