Taste test: can a new formula help kids with constipation?
NCT ID NCT06357897
Summary
This study is testing a new version of a common constipation medicine (polyethylene glycol) to see if it works as well and tastes better than the standard formula for children. 52 children aged 6 months to 18 years with functional constipation will take either the new or standard medicine for 8 weeks. Researchers will track symptoms, side effects, and how much the children like the taste of the medicine.
