New hope for inoperable esophageal cancer patients in trial

Summary
This study is testing a new combination of drugs and radiation to control advanced esophageal cancer that cannot be removed by surgery. It will involve 69 adults who have not had prior cancer treatment. The goal is to see if adding a drug called surufatinib to standard chemo-immunotherapy and radiation improves how long patients live without their cancer getting worse.
