Scientists race to find better treatments for Tough-to-Treat blood cancer

NCT ID NCT02436707

Summary

This study is testing new combinations of cancer drugs to see if they work better than the current standard treatment for aggressive B-cell lymphoma that has come back or stopped responding to initial therapy. About 129 patients will be randomly assigned to receive either a new drug combination or the standard regimen. The main goal is to see how many patients' cancer shrinks or disappears with the new treatments, while closely monitoring side effects.
