Double attack on deadly cancer: new combo therapy enters trial

Summary
This study is testing whether adding a new targeted drug (anetumab ravtansine) to an existing immunotherapy (pembrolizumab) works better than the immunotherapy alone for treating advanced pleural mesothelioma. The trial aims to see if the combination is safe and more effective at shrinking tumors in about 49 patients whose cancer has a specific marker (mesothelin) and who have already tried standard chemotherapy. It is for people whose cancer has progressed after initial treatment.
