First seen Apr 22, 2026 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study tests a new treatment plan for adults with locally advanced rectal cancer that hasn't spread. Participants get a week of radiation, then a combination of two chemotherapy drugs and an immunotherapy drug. The goal is to shrink the tumor enough that surgery may not be needed, or to make surgery more successful. The study will check how many patients have no cancer left after treatment.
