Double-Drug attack before surgery aims to wipe out esophageal cancer

NCT ID NCT07191977

Summary

This study is testing whether giving two cancer drugs together before surgery is safe and effective for people with a type of esophageal cancer that can be removed. One drug boosts the immune system to fight cancer, and the other blocks cancer cell growth. The main goal is to see if this combination can shrink tumors significantly before the operation, potentially leading to better long-term results.
