Scientists test Triple-Threat attack on Tough-to-Treat lung cancer

NCT ID NCT05353439

Summary

This early-stage study is testing the safety and best dose of a new three-drug combination for small cell lung cancer that has returned after initial treatment. The combination includes a pill (tazemetostat), a chemotherapy (topotecan), and an immunotherapy (pembrolizumab), aiming to attack the cancer in multiple ways. The main goal is to find a safe dose and see if the treatment can shrink or stabilize the cancer in a small group of patients.
