Radioactive drug combo aims to zap rare gut tumors

NCT ID NCT04086485

Summary

This study is testing whether combining two drugs, Lutathera and Olaparib, can shrink rare neuroendocrine tumors in the digestive system or pancreas that cannot be removed by surgery. About 56 adults will receive Lutathera through an IV every 8 weeks and take Olaparib pills twice daily. The main goals are to find a safe dose and see if the treatment makes tumors get smaller.
