New hope for advanced colorectal cancer: immune booster added to chemo

Summary
This study tests whether adding an immunotherapy drug (atezolizumab) to standard chemotherapy and targeted therapy can help people with a specific type of advanced colorectal cancer live longer without their disease getting worse. About 238 adults whose cancer has spread and cannot be removed by surgery will take part. The goal is to see if the new combination slows cancer growth better than the current standard treatment.
