New drug combo challenges standard treatment in advanced colon cancer trial
NCT ID NCT07235293
Summary
This study is testing whether a new combination of two drugs (DSP107 and atezolizumab) works better and is safer than an existing treatment (fruquintinib) for people with advanced colorectal cancer that has stopped responding to standard therapies. About 90 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the new combination or the standard treatment, and researchers will track how long patients live and monitor side effects. The goal is to find better options for patients whose cancer has progressed despite previous treatments.
