New hope for Tough-to-Treat colon cancer: major trial tests promising drug combo

NCT ID NCT07361003

Summary

This study is testing whether adding a new drug called Suvemcitug to a standard chemotherapy pill works better than the pill alone for people with advanced colorectal cancer that has stopped responding to other treatments. About 464 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the new combination or the standard pill with a placebo. The main goal is to see if the combination helps people live longer and is safe.
