New hope for stubbornly high cholesterol when standard drugs fail
NCT ID NCT07404553
Summary
This study is testing a new drug called SHR-1918 for adults with high cholesterol that remains too high despite taking two types of strong cholesterol medications (statins and PCSK9 inhibitors). About 126 participants will be randomly assigned to receive either the new drug or a placebo (inactive shot) for 24 weeks to see if it safely lowers their 'bad' cholesterol levels more effectively.
