Breakthrough trial: chemo mist fights advanced stomach cancer

NCT ID NCT07271355

Summary

This study is testing a new way to deliver chemotherapy for advanced appendix or colorectal cancer that has spread to the abdominal lining and cannot be removed by surgery. It compares a new, minimally invasive method that sprays chemotherapy as a pressurized mist directly into the abdomen against standard IV chemotherapy. The main goal is to see if the new approach helps patients live longer.
