New 'Chemo Mist' trial offers hope for Tough-to-Treat abdominal cancers
NCT ID NCT07271355
Summary
This study is for people with advanced appendix or colorectal cancer that has spread to the abdominal lining and cannot be removed by surgery. It compares a new, minimally invasive method that delivers chemotherapy as a pressurized mist directly into the abdomen against standard chemotherapy given through a vein. The main goal is to see if the new approach helps patients live longer.
