Doctors try using Patients' own bone marrow to fight liver damage

NCT ID NCT07374185

Summary

This small study is testing whether a patient's own bone marrow cells, combined with growth-promoting substances, can help improve liver function in people with cirrhosis (scarring of the liver). Doctors will take a small sample of bone marrow from the patient, process it, and give it back through an IV. The goal is to see if this treatment can help control the disease and improve the patient's liver health score.
