Scientists test 'Plant-Inspired' device to get a better look inside your gut
NCT ID NCT04418258
Summary
This study is testing a new medical tool designed to collect fluid from the small intestine. Researchers want to see if this new 'capillary' catheter can collect samples faster and with less contamination than the standard tool used during routine endoscopies. The study involves 46 people already scheduled for an upper endoscopy, where doctors will use one of the two catheters to collect a small fluid sample for research.
